Quarterly Presentation at San Rafael July 14

The Northwestern Pacific Railroad Historical Society’s program at the San Rafael Community  Center on B Street on Monday, July 14, will feature Headlight and Northwesterner Editor Fred Codoni with “NWP in the Fifties,” a photo history of the NWP’s last years of steam and the complete takeover of Diesel power. Included will be photos of a 1957 trip on the railroad’s Redwood train through the Eel River Canyon. Fred will be interspersing his talk with personal recollections of his years on the NWP. Doors open at 6:30, with program at 7:00. Light refreshments will be available. There is no charge, but donations are appreciated to cover the cost of renting the room.
