Quarterly Presentation at San Rafael Community Center Oct. 13

Fred Runner, Chairman and Executive Director of Friends of No. 9, will discuss the history and recent cosmetic restoration of the Mt. Tamalpais & Muir Woods Scenic Railway No. 9 Heisler locomotive, the sole surviving locomotive from the railway. The Friends of No. 9 is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit corporation formed in 2018 for the express purpose of displaying historical items related to the railway.
Open to the public, donations are greatly appreciated. Doors at 6:30 p.m., the program begins at 7:00.
